The patent baby blue takes its color from Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina, where his game-winning shot secured the championship for UNC in 1982. The Air Jordan 11 Low GS “Concord Bred” is the youth sizing of the mash-up colorway that features two iconic looks for the model. Slimmed down to low-top form, the Jordan 11 Low was worn by Michael Jordan during brief but memorable stretches of his historic 1995-1996 NBA campaign. Luxurious black patent leather appears on the mudguard in a move reminiscent of the “Concord” edition. White leather dots the mid-panel and collar. The look is finished off by a contrasting white midsole and semi-translucent University Red outsole that combines with the black patent leather and white midsole to evoke strong overtures to the Air Jordan 11 “Bred. ”.

The Jordan 11 Low PS “Legend Blue” is the preschool sizing of the colorway based on an original version of Michael Jordan’s eleventh signature shoe. The Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” was released by Nike in 1996 and worn by Michael during the 1996 NBA All-Star Game. Without any official naming by Nike or Jordan, the “Columbia” undoubtedly saluted Michael’s alma mater, the North Carolina Tar Heels. In 2014, the “Columbia” was repackaged as the “Legend Blue” and was converted to a low-top on this 2021 release. The “Legend Blue” shares many similarities with the original look. A crisp white leather upper and white patent leather mudguard is on par with the “Columbia.” A white mesh tongue with Legend Blue “Jumpman Jordan” branding contrasts the black inner lining. A small blue Jumpman appears on the heel. An icy blue semi-translucent outsole completes the look. Release date: May 7, 2021.
