The New Balance 550 features an upper constructed with suede and Cordura textile. Cordura-branded tabs are on the quarter panels on the lateral sides with teal branding elements, including a New Balance woven tongue tag, classic "N" badge, and embroidered 550 logos on the lateral forefoot. The laces have distorted stripes, and the sneaker is held together by a rubber cupsole featuring an EVA wedge. The sneaker was released on April 7th, 2022.
