From its earliest days as a performance trail runner to its adoption as a style icon in 1990s Tokyo, the MT580 has been embraced by the adventurous. A new collaborative project from Levi's and New Balance draws on this history, with a special-edition design inspired by the birth of mountain biking in Marin County, California. The bold, Rollbar-equipped silhouette is outfitted with Levi's signature SHRINK-TO-FIT denim and complimented with premium suede overlays. A palette that pairs neutral tones with vibrant color pops is inspired by trail and mountain biking apparel and equipment, nodding to the 580's fashion-forward ‘90s origins.
