The Leather Working Group evaluates and classifies these tanneries based on energy consumption, waste generation and disposal, and water treatment. ReBOTL Fabric This environmentally friendly fabric is made from RPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) textile fibre filament, created from non-biodegradable recycled PET plastic bottles. This material allows for the design of products made with 50% recycled PET content, significantly reducing the environmental impact of certain production processes. TimberGrip It is a traction compound from Timberland with the best performance to date. It contains 50% biological content, which includes 3% resins derived from paper pulp waste and 47% natural rubber. This reduces dependence on fossil fuels compared to 100% synthetic rubber.
